Therapy programs
Initial Evaluation
All of our programs begin with a 60 to 90 minute comprehensive initial evaluation. During this evaluation, we will start by taking a thorough health and dental history. We will then perform an assessment of your orofacial muscle tone and function, face/body alignment and symmetry, breathing pattern, hard and soft tissues of the mouth, occlusion, and swallowing pattern. Photos and videos are often taken during this assessment. The initial evaluation will help us determine the root cause of your symptoms and develop a customized therapy program if indicated. The therapy program may include a referral to other professionals whose services are needed to achieve, complement or support your therapy goals. Following the evaluation, we will review our recommendations and answer any questions you may have.
